Over 40 people from the Kansas City Section toured the Schlitterbahn Waterpark in Kansas City, Kansas to get a behind the scenes look at how one of the premier tourist attractions in Kansas really works. There are nearly 3,000,000 gallons of water in the park, and two HUGE Archimedes screws capable of 50,000 gallons/minute and 100,000 gallons/minute provide movement for the rivers and pools. And we learned up close how the Worlds Tallest Water slide works and some of the innovative techniques they have developed. After the tour we had a great Fajita bar buffet on the RiverHaus Deck and enjoyed a beautiful evening in Kansas City.
